IH 610 / US 59, Houston, Texas

Project Details

Williams Brothers was contracted by TxDOT to perform improvements to the IH 610 at US 59 Interchange, a major connection point of two heavily traveled highways serving the Houston area. Building new continuous IH 610 frontage roads under US 59 was a unique project aspect. Two pump stations were installed at this depressed location to effectively manage and mitigate any potential drainage impacts. In addition, WB also constructed improvements on the existing direct connectors that improved mobility in the area.
